Marie Sklodwoska Curie was a Polish- French chemist and physicist who conducted pioneering research on radioactivity. She was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize, the first and only woman to win twice, and the only person to win a Nobel Prize in two different sciences. She was the first woman to become a professor at the University of Paris, and paved the way for women to be recognized for their contributions to science.

Charlotte Tarlitz is an LA-based illustrator who has worked professionally for over a decade creating and directing art for video games and media on web and social platforms; as well as illustrating books, freelancing and drawing for merchandise design. Her clients have included Disney, Mattel, Hasbro, Spinmaster, Activision, Sanrio and Hard Rock Cafe.
